Astronomy Students: PROJECT HELP DAYS have been sent out through REMIND and posted outside the classroom. They are March 1 and March 6 from 4 to 5:15pm. Also, Saturday March 4 from 9am to 11am. A few basic supplies will be provided for anyone attending help days.

Texas PTA Life Membership Awards

Upcoming Programs from the Counseling Dept
All of our students are going to see the film Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age. The title says it all, but Screenagers takes a look at the struggles families face over social media, video games, academics and Internet addictions. The video is 70 minutes long.

Officer Newsome, a police officer with the Dallas Police, will present to our students. He will discuss internet safety, cyberbullying, internet laws and other important information.

Woodrow Wilson Football Summer Camp
WWHS Wildcats will be holding a football summer camp for rising 7th-9th graders at Woodrow on July 31st-Aug. 3rd. The camp is free, but donations of $10-$100 are appreciated and encouraged in order to pay for insurance, shirts, etc. We want anyone interested in football to be able to participate! Contact Shannon West with questions.
For rising 9th graders they will have first shot at equipment for their freshman season! They will be learning the offense and defense of the high school team in attempt to vertically align Long and Woodrow. This will be fun for the boys interested in football. [Click here for flier with more info]
